Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi’s action thriller, ‘Master’, hit the big screen with an extraordinary response on January 13th and created a new record at the box-office by earning over Rs.40 crore gross on opening day in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.Produced and distributed by 7 Screens, ‘Master’ revolves around a professor (Thalapathy) who tries to reform a juvenile school system, where he clashes with a gangster (Sethupathi).The rest of the story lies in how the duo clashes and what will happen next.
Now, we have learned that the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial is now gearing up for a Hindi remake, as ‘Kabir Singh’ producer, Murad Khetani is all set to bring it in Hindi with Endemol Shine as his production partner.The paperwork has been done and an official announcement is around the corner.
The casting for the film will commence soon.Sharing the news, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “IT’S OFFICIAL… #MASTER #HINDI REMAKE… #Master – starring #Vijay and #VijaySethupathi – will now be remade in #Hindi… Endemol Shine India, Murad Khetani [Cine1 Studios] and 7 Screen Studio will produce the #Hindi adaptation… Casting for #Hindi remake will commence soon.”
Now, the public is already suggesting names on social media for the remake where some people say Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh could be a great duo.However, Hrithik Roshan is said to be one of the options for the lead role, and the film will be launched officially once the final cast and crew are finalized.‘Master‘ has the music score by Anirudh and apart from the dream combo of Thalapathy Vijay and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi also boasts of the ensemble cast of Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, and Arjun Das among many others.
