Rakul Preet Singh is one of the latest celebrities in the south to get infected by the COVID-19 who is currently shooting in the sets of Ramoji Film City.On Tuesday, 22nd December 2020, the actress took to her social media handle to inform the public about her catching the virus and warned everyone to stay safe, and also told the people who were in contact with her to get tested.
In an Instagram post, Rakul wrote, “I’d like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19.I have quarantined myself.
I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon.Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested.Thank you and please stay safe.”
To her post mentioned above, Manchu Lakshmi who recently met Rakul, has replied saying, “I tested and I’m negative.Most negative person of the year is me,” Along with this, Rakul has also shot a talk show ‘Sam Jam’ with Samantha Akkineni and Krish Jagarlamudi.
Rakul has recently completed the shooting of a film with Krish co-starring Vaishnav Tej in the lead role which is rumored to be titled ‘Kondapolam‘.
Apart from this, she is also working on ‘May Day’ with Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn in Hyderabad and a lead role in Nithin’s film titled ‘Check’
The novel virus has infected a large number of celebrities in the south such as Rajamouli, Rajasekhar, Keeravani, Tamannahh, and Naga Babu and hopefully have been recovered soon but a few of them have unfortunately failed to and succumbed to it.She seems to be fine and also staying optimistic about returning back to work soon.Wishing her a safe and speedy recovery.
