Los Angeles, Aug 19 : Thriller film ‘You Can’t Run Forever’ that stars Academy Award winner J.K.Simmons, has wrapped its principal photography.The first images from the film can be found available here. The stills, available through Deadline gives a glimpse about the story’s universe and the setting.The film, originally named ‘The Woods’ is a thrilling ride that follows a psychotic killer as he chases a troubled teenage girl through the forest.
According to Deadline the film’s cast comprises Allen Leech and Fernanda Urrejola.Simmons his wife Michelle Schumacher has directed the film based on Carolyn J.Carpenter’s script with Randle Schumacher producing for Rubber Tree Productions.
Simmons stated to Deadline: “One of the things I enjoyed about the film was the mystery of “why” and the shocking reality that sometimes what the answer is only leads to more questions.There’s no doubt that this film will shock the hell out of the audience.”
“The film is about the effects of trauma and survival and how often we think we’re not able to be able to endure something like this in our lives only to discover that we are not only able to survive but we’re stronger than we were before,” added Schumacher.”It’s about the love and the strength of your family that you’re born into, and the family you choose to join.”
