Bangladesh Bowler Mustafizur Rahman is very keen to play IPL 2020 but his board denied NOC.
It has become a headache for a few IPL team managements to replace their left-out players owing to Covid-19.The frontline teams to suffer from this situation are Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, and Kolkata Night Riders.Recently MI has received a big blow when their key bowler Lasith Malinga exit the season due to personal reasons.
However, they have replaced the gap with James Pattinson.
On the other side, KKR is yet to find a replacement for Harry Gurney.
After a long dilly-dallying, the team management has considered Bangladeshi medium pacer Mustafizur Rahman and enquired about the possibility.Reports state that Rahman is very keen to play this season’s IPL but Bangladesh Cricket Board is reluctant to consider his decision.
Initially, BCB has said to be permitted Rahman to play in IPL.But the board is very much concern about his injuries.Considering the forthcoming test series with Sri Lanka, the board has reportedly denied NOC for Rahman.
