New Delhi, Sep 6 : As seven pacts have been made between India and Bangladesh on Tuesday following bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his visit to Bangladesh partner Sheikh Hasina.The agreements relate to water resources as well as space, IT and railways and broadcasting.
This included an agreement on the withdrawal of waters from the border crossing Kushiyara river and collaboration in space technology and collaboration in IT systems that railways use for transport of freight and an agreement on cooperation in the area of science and technology.
In addition the two sides signed a deal for training of Bangladeshi railway personnel and Judicial officials in India.
An agreement on cooperation in the area of broadcasting between Prasar Bharati and Bangladesh Television was also signed at the occasion.
