Minister KTR has launched a permanent well-watered scheme at a cost of Rs 1200 crore.Minister KTR visited Rajendra Nagar constituency on Monday.
Minister KTR laid the foundation stone for the ORR Phase-2 project undertaken by the Water Board.
Minister KTR said his government has so far spent Rs 6,000 crore to prevent drinking water problems in the municipality.
Chief Minister KCR said that a plan should be drawn up to provide fresh water facility keeping in view the population coming to Hyderabad in the next thirty years.The Center will follow the Telangana schemes, said Minister KTR.Once upon a time, wherever you look for fresh water, you can see big lines with bins.Now those difficulties are gone.
Minister KTR said the project was being constructed at a cost of Rs 587 crore to provide better water supply to the graded communities and colonies within the ORR.
Funds have been allocated to provide drinking water to 25 municipalities within the Outer Ring Road.Minister KTR said the government’s aim was to supply fresh water to all municipalities.Saying that all measures will be taken to prevent drinking water problems here in future.
The event was attended by Minister Sabita Indra Reddy along with several public representatives.
