New Delhi, Aug 19 : Honor of Kings by Tencent with players spending $225.8 million it was the highest-grossing mobile game in the world in July of 2022, according to the latest report.
According to Sensor Tower, about 94.6 percent of Honor of Kings’ revenues came from China and was followed by 2 percent from Taiwan and 1.6 percent from Thailand.

PUBG Mobile by Tencent was second highest-earning mobile game in the world for the month of July in 2022 with $164.3 million in gross revenue.

Around 69 percent of PUBG Mobile’s revenues came from China the country where it was rebranded to be known as Game For Peace, followed by 6.4 percent of its revenue from the US.

The next top-grossing game was Genshin Impact from miHoYo, followed by Candy Crush Saga from King and Roblox from Roblox Corporation.

The market for mobile games worldwide produced an estimated $6.7 billion in user spending on the App Store and Google Play in July 2022 which is a decrease of 10.2 percent year-over-year.

The top market for revenues in July 2022 was US which produced $1.9 billion or 28.4 percent of the total spending of players worldwide.Japan came in second place for revenue, with 20 percent followed by China and India, in which Google Play is not available with a rate of 17.8 percent.

Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle from Bandai Namco had its second most successful month of the year in July, with an estimated $70 million in worldwide player spending, which is a 3.3 times increase over the previous month.

The increase in revenues is due to the game’s seventh anniversary celebrations and special events in-game.

After its global debut in July 2015, this game usually sees a rise in revenues at this time of the year.
