Addressing the media later, Lokesh alleged that the prolonged detention of Naidu for 50 days is a result of extensive misuse of government departments and manipulation of systems.

He expressed a loss of confidence in the current government.

Lokesh accused Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy, his supporters, and certain members of the party of resorting to personal attacks and making derogatory comments against Naidu. He called upon the public and the media to take note of YSRCP leaders stating that Chandrababu Naidu will meet his end in jail.

He pointed out that in the last 50 days, the government has failed to provide any evidence against Naidu since his arrest.

Lokesh acknowledged that political opponents engage in heated disputes, but emphasized that the threats of violence, including the suggestion that Chandrababu Naidu might be killed, are deeply alarming.

Lokesh recalled a recent remark made by a woman minister suggesting that his mother, who is unrelated to the case, might also be incarcerated.

He challenged the government to produce any evidence of corruption or funds being transferred to the party’s or their family members’ accounts. He affirmed that their family has not been involved in any corrupt practices and underscored that Chandrababu Naidu did not engage in corruption during his tenure as chief minister.

Alleging that the ruling party is impeding Naidu’s bail, Lokesh vowed that they will deliver a resounding response in the upcoming elections. He lamented the lack of response from the government to the plight of farmers, whose crops are withering due to a severe drought affecting 32 lakh acres of land.

Lokesh criticized the CM for not conducting a single review and for ministers and MLAs failing to meet with and support the struggling farmers. He urged the public to take note of the YSRCP leaders who appear to be indifferent to the farmers’ hardships, all while traveling in air-conditioned buses.

Lokesh questioned how Jagan Mohan Reddy, if not for manipulating the system, could have remained on bail for a staggering 10 years and managed to delay the arrest of Y.S.Avinash Reddy in the Y.S.Vivekananda Reddy murder case.Expressing concern for Naidu’s health, he revealed that the TDP chief has lost 6 kg since his incarceration and mentioned his father’s congenital heart condition.

Despite medical advice for Naidu’s eye surgery, Lokesh alleged that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government pressured the police to retract the recommendation.Former ministers Nimmakayala Chinarajappa, Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary, K.S.Jawahar, and others were also present.
