New Delhi, Sep 6 : The homegrown e-commerce platform Flipkart has announced it is entering the hospitality industry with the introduction of the new hotel booking feature called Flipkart Hotels on its platform, to enhance its services in the travel industry.The platform announced that Flipkart Hotels will allow customers to book hotel rooms at 3 lakh international and domestic hotels.
With Cleartrip’s API, Flipkart Hotels will benefit from Cleartrip’s extensive knowledge of travelers and the various sectors.

Available through the Flipkart app This new platform is expected to offer a simple booking experience and prompt communication via prominent messaging apps.
