San Francisco, Aug 7 : Google’s Wearables brand Fitbit has announced that it will stop allowing users to transfer music from their computers.Fitbit will cease support for PC music transfer on October 13 this year.
“On 13 October 2022, we will end the option of transferring playlists onto your Fitbit watch from your personal computer,” the platform said on its support page.
The company stated that once that the Fitbit Connect app on users computers is removed they are able the transfer of music to their watches via the Deezer app.
Users in the US can also utilize Pandora.Customers in the US can also use Pandora app.Users could be eligible for a trial period of 90 days of Deezer or Pandora the company announced.
In the meantime, in March this year, Fitbit recalled its ‘Ionic smartwatch in the wake of reports of an overheated battery and a possible burn injury.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in the US said that at the least 115 people in the US and 59 across the world reported an overheated battery on the device.
There were 118 reported of burns with two cases of third-degree burns, and four instances of second-degree burns.
