Rajamouli’s upcoming film #RRR is already on its path of creating records even before a sneak-peek from the movie. The film’s pre-release business has already begun with star producers knocking the doors of Rajamouli with offers that he cannot refuse.
Star Producer Dil Raju has reportedly approached Rajamouli for #RRR Nizam theatrical rights.
Reportedly, Dil Raju offered a staggering Rs 75 crores for the Nizam region theatrical rights.
Though the amounts seem to be astronomical, given the extent of theatres, filmgoers, and other dynamics, there is a hidden logic behind Dil Raju’s mammoth offer.
Bahubali 2 minted Rs 65+ crores in Nizam region alone, with a 100-day run in many theatres.
With Young Tiger Jr NTR and Mega Powerstar Ram Charan starring in #RRR, the star heroes’ fans would throng to the theatres. Moreover, Ala Vaikuntapuramulo and Sarileru Neekevvaru films that released parallel collected Rs 40+ Crores and Rs 25+ Crores in the Nizam region, owing to Sankranti-holiday period.
If these films can collect over Rs 65+ Crores, it would be a cakewalk for #RRR to surpass Rs 80 Crores (as a share) if released during Sankranti.News of #RRR being a Sankranti 2021 release is currently doing rounds in the Film Nagar.
