AP DGP Gautam Sawang has said that they will keep surveillance in the state regarding the Remedesivier stocks – consumption, oxygen cylinders stocks – consumption, bills in the hospitals for corona treatment, and so on.The DGP has warned that they will take strict action on those who sell Remedesivir injections on the black markets.The DGP said the raids would be carried out across the state in coordination with the district police, vigilance, and enforcement, drug control, medical and health departments.
“If you have information that Remedesivir injections and oxygen cylinders are being sold on the black market, Dial 100, 1902.We are looking into the fees that hospitals are charging from the Covid patients.Strict action will be taken if fees are charged in excess than fixed by the government.People who come across these irregularities must send that information by dialing 100, and 1902,” the DGP suggested.
“We will set up a green channel for vehicles carrying oxygen cylinders to transport them without any transportation problems.For this, state-level and district-level nodal officers have been appointed.Two IPS officers have been appointed and posted in the Covid control room to coordinate with other departments.
Everyone has to deal with social responsibility during this difficult time,” he said.
