Tamil star actor Dhanush will next be seen in a film titled ‘Karnan’ which is being directed by Mari Selvaraj of ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ fame.It has been a while since we heard an official update from the makers of this film.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that Dhanush has surprised everyone with a tweet yesterday and announced that the entire shooting formalities of this film have been wrapped up. Dhanush took to his official Twitter account and said, “#karnan shoot completed.Thank you Mari selvaraj for giving me this.Thank you @theVcreations thanu sir for the support.Sincere thanks to all my co stars and technicians.A special thanks to @Music_Santhosh for the overwhelming music you have given for this special special film.”
Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu’s V Creations, the film has Malayalam actress Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead and she will be making her Tamil debut with this film.Touted to be a rural drama, ‘Karnan’ also has Mollywood actor Lal playing a key role while Lakshmipriya Chandramouli, Gouri Kishen, and Yogi Babu will be seen in other important roles. On the work front, Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of ‘Jagame Thandiram’ which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj.He also has Aanand L Rai’s Bollywood film ‘Atrangi Re’ and films with Ram Kumar, Selvaraghavan, and Karthik Naren in the pipeline.Keep watching this space for more updates!
