There was a period in the Tollywood film industry when directors used to wait for months to get Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad on track.Tides have turned, and young music sensations are replacing Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad.
Though it is a good development with fresh music appearing, few diehard fans of DSP’s are not able to digest this fact.
Adding to this, DSP has been giving some dud albums since the past couple of years, and hardly anyone can remember his latest songs.
On the other hand, music directors like S Thaman, Gopi Sundar, and others are giving super hit albums.Directors like Koratala Siva, Trivikram, and Harish Shankar have already replaced DSP for their films, and Sukumar is the only director who is still betting big on DSP.
With Sukumar Allu Arjun film on cards, it will be interesting to see whether DSP will rediscover his touch, or succumb further.Reports emerged that Allu Arjun wanted to replace DSP, with S Thaman.
However, it was on Sukumar’s insistence, Allu Arjun had to back off with his proposal.
