This brings the total number of corona deaths in India to 4,94,091 so far.Despite the declining number of cases, the rising death toll is worrying.There are currently 18,84,937 active corona cases in the country.At present the daily positivity reaches 14.50%.The week’s positivity rate is 16.40%.

Between 8am on Saturday and 8am on Sunday, 3,52,784 people recovered from the epidemic, bringing the total number of people who have recovered so far to 3,87,13,494.The recovery rate in the country has reached 94.21%.A total of 16,15,993 people underwent corona tests in the past 24 hours and a total of 72.73 crore people underwent corona tests so far.Corona vaccine distribution will continue across the country.So far, 165.70 crore vaccine doses have been administered, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

With the rapid distribution of the vaccine in the country, there is a decline in the number of daily cases currently being registered than the number of cases registered in the two to three weeks of January.

On the other hand, many states are easing regulations as the corona in the country is declining.Night curfew is also being lifted, including weekend restrictions.

Paramedics are urging people to remain vigilant despite the lifting of regulations.As the corona threat continues, people should exercise self-protection, wear masks and keep physical distance, the central medical department said.
