Complete Third Phase of Land Survey by January : CM Jagan to officials

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy has set a target for officials to wrap up the third phase of the Jagananna Saswatha Bhu Hakku-Bhu Raksha initiative by January 2024.

During discussions, the CM emphasized the need for expediency in the process.

He highlighted that the first two phases of the Bhu Hakku-Bhu Raksha survey successfully covered 4,000 villages and urged for accelerated efforts.Responding to the CMs directives, the sub-committee, comprising ministers Peddireddy Ramachandra, Botsa Satyanarayana, Dharmana Prasada, and chief adviser Ajay Kallam, conducted a thorough review of the implementation strategies.

Minister Ramachandra Reddy, leading the meeting, commended the comprehensive land survey being conducted in AP, describing it as the fastest in the country.He noted that the survey encompassed 4,000 villages over two phases, with land title documents already distributed.

Dharmana Prasada emphasized the scientific approach taken in the survey process.He highlighted that officials from five states visited AP to study and express satisfaction with the process.

Drone imagery has been completed in 13,072 villages, with data sent to 9,000 more.The minister reported the successful completion of the third phase survey in 360 villages and urged swifter progress in urban areas.He specified that a total of 15.02 lakh acres needed to be surveyed in 123 urban local bodies.The goal is to furnish landowners with their rightful documents, starting with four ULBs in the third phase..
