CID officials have conducted raids at the residence of TDP senior leader and former Minister P Narayana.It is learned that a CID case has been registered against Narayana in connection with the purchase and sale of assigned lands in the capital Amaravati.
A search was conducted at his residence in Chintareddypalem, Nellore.CID officials carried out searches and prevented anyone from entering his residence.
CID officials today issued notices at Narayana’s residence in Kukatpally, Hyderabad.Notices were handed over to his wife as Narayana was unavailable.
The notices stated that he would appear for a hearing at the CID regional office in Vijayawada on March 22.They made it clear that Narayana could be arrested under Section 41A (3) (4) if he does not appear for trial.
Narayana was named A-2 in the notices.The notices were issued in the name of DSP A.Lakshminarayana, CID Cyber cell.It is learned that CID officials yesterday issued notices to former chief minister and TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu to appear before the court on March 23 in connection with the same case.
CID officials registered a case following a complaint lodged by Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishnareddy in the Amaravati assigned lands case.
