Thiruvananthapuram 12 August : The Centre uses Governor Arif Mohammad Khan to destablise the ruling Left government in Kerala, CPI-M state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said on Friday.The veteran leader made the accusation during a discussion with the media following the end of the three-day gathering in the city.”It is nothing more than the same thing of the events that took place in different states,” he added.
“Look at what Governor Has done.
He didn’t sign the Ordinances which was not in the spirit with the democratic values.He attempts to interfere in a way that is unjust,” said Balakrishnan.
“The Centre is throwing a wrench in the progress of the state.The opposition led by the Congress is trying to thwart the progress.Take a look at what the Enforcement Directorate has been doing to two-time former Finance Minister Thomas Isaac.We’re not going to be subdued and will do everything we power to stop any of this happening in the future,” he asserted.
The three-day meeting also assessed the performance of the Ministers.When asked about the work of the Home Ministry, he said it’s a large and important department, and therefore problems will surely arise.
According to reports Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan handles the Home Minister, and there have been many complaints about concerning the way that the police have been working in his second term.
People in the loop of details revealed that ministers have been instructed to travel around the state and not remain in their office.
The meeting also criticized of the media, which was said to have been focusing on the development initiatives of the Vijayan government.Participants were asked to provide prompt interventions with the media.
