Similar to Kerala which is known as ‘Gods own country’, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has coined a new phrase for Andhra Pradesh and wants AP to be known as ‘Sunrise country’.
Releasing the white paper on industries, infrastructure and employment Mr Naidu said that the focus would be to identify the growth engines and develop them.
He revealed that Andhra Pradesh will soon come out with a new industrial policy incorporating 11 sub-sectors like IT, tourism, textiles, biotechnology, livestock, horticulture, ports, fisheries etc.which will attract huge investment, create employment and raise nearly Rs 50,000 crore revenue per annum.
