AP govt launches land registeration services in Village Secretariats

Property registrations in the village secretariats started in Andhra Pradesh.The state government introduced this scheme to make the property registration process easy for the people of the state.

Krishna district has already been selected as a pilot project.Four registrations have been completed so far this month.They were also legitimized.The registration process has already started at the village secretariat in Thakkellapadu of Jaggayyapeta Mandal.

Property registrations in the district are currently done at the offices of the Sub-Registrar.If the registration fee is paid according to the value of the government land, then the registration will be done after checking.

There are 28 Sub-Registrar’s Offices under the three District Registrars in the district.Only the properties of the zones and villages under the respective SRs are registered.

But now, with the arrival of the ‘Anywhere Registration’ policy, it is possible to do it anywhere.

Registrations of assets belonging to the village are done only in the village secretariats.The Anywhere policy does not apply here.This system helps to prevent false registrations.

So there will be no registrations of fake assets.Double registrations are not allowed.
