In his 528th film, the accomplished actor Anupam Kher offered a sneak peek into his character in a Telugu drama titled ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’.
He shared a serious-looking poster on Instagram, dressed in a checkered coat, brown pants, and sporting a moustache and spectacles.
He expressed his excitement, calling it his “first look” as Raghavendra Rajput in the movie and used the hashtag #TigerNageswaraRao.
The film is a period piece set in the 1970s, depicting real events about a daring thief (played by Ravi Teja) from South India and the people of Stuartpuram.Vamsee has written and directed the film, produced by Abhishek Agarwal under the Abhishek Agarwal Arts banner, with Tej Narayan Agarwal as the presenter.
‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ will hit screens in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.The female leads opposite Ravi Teja will be played by Nupur Sanon and Gayathri Bharadwaj.R Madhie ISC serves as the cinematographer, while GV Prakash Kumar handles the music.
Avinash Kolla is the production designer, Srikanth Vissa the dialogue writer, and Mayank Singhaniya the co-producer.The film’s release date is scheduled for October 20th, 2023.
Anupam Kher also stars in ‘The Vaccine War’, a movie highlighting India’s role in developing a Covid-19 vaccine during the pandemic.Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film is set to release on Independence Day 2023 in 11 languages.
Additionally, Anupam will appear in Kangana Ranaut’s directorial ‘Emergency’ and ‘The Signature’.
