In an enthusiastic call to action, Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy has urged the members of the ruling YSRCP to champion the party’s and state government’s initiatives benefiting SC, ST, BC, and minority communities through the dynamic Samajika Sadhikara Bus Yatra, set to kick off this Thursday.
He also emphasized the need to effectively counter the “misleading” narratives circulated by opposition parties against the YSRCP, especially in response to the yatras led by Nara Bhuvaneswari (Nijam Gelavali), Nara Lokesh (Bhavishytthu Ku Guarantee), and Pawan Kalyan.
“In the past 53 months, our government has redefined social justice by prioritizing BC, SC, ST, and minority representation from Cabinet to nominated positions.A significant number of these positions were rightfully allocated to these segments,” the Chief Minister asserted, urging party leaders and members to publicize these noteworthy strides.
With great fanfare and unity, senior YSRCP leaders including housing minister Jogi Ramesh, social welfare minister Merugu Nagarjuna, municipal administration minister Adimulapu Suresh, former minister Kolusu Parthasarathy, along with leaders Hanumantu Naik and SM Ziauddin, unveiled the “Samajika Sadhikara Yatra” campaign poster from Tadepalli.
The YSRCP’s mission is clear: to unite marginalized communities and bridge socio-economic disparities.
With a traditional pre-launch ceremony and heartfelt blessings, the Bus Yatra was officially set in motion.Minister Jogi Ramesh took the wheel, steering the journey forward while fellow leaders proudly waved the party flags.
Minister Ramesh declared that the yatra would commence simultaneously from three different regions on Thursday, echoing the sentiment that this was a battle for the rights of the less privileged.
He critiqued Bhuvaneswari’s ‘Nijam Gelavali’ campaign on behalf of the TD, suggesting that a ‘Papa Parihara Yatra’ (a campaign for atonement) might be more fitting to reconcile past wrongs, such as NTR’s perceived betrayal by Naidu.
Minister Nagarjuna highlighted that the highest number of attacks on Dalits occurred during Chandrababu’s tenure.“Under the YSRCP’s governance, the lives of the poor have seen significant improvement.Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership is vital for Andhra Pradesh. The prosperity of the less fortunate hinges on Jagan Mohan Reddy’s return as CM,” he passionately stated.
Minister Adimulapu Suresh added, “Chandrababu manipulated BCs for his political gain, denying impoverished children access to English medium education. He opposed the idea of the poor having homes in Amaravati and even barred their entry into temples.”
Former minister Kolusu Parthasarathy reiterated Jagan Mohan Reddy’s unwavering commitment to empowering marginalized communities.
Echoing CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sentiment, former MLA S.M.Ziauddin rallied the people to make the Bus Yatra a resounding success, emphasizing that the upcoming elections would be a battle of classes, a fight for the rights of the underprivileged against the affluent.
