All indications are that Nara Lokesh Babu’s wife and Balakrishna’s daughter Nara Brahmani could step into political shoes anytime soon. Now that Chandrababu is behind the bars and Lokesh is firmly ensconced in Delhi, there is a clear void in the TDP and the party needs a recognizable face to reach out to the people.
The TDP thinking heads feel this could be none other than Brahmani herself.
Against this backdrop, a meeting between Janasena leaders and Nara Brahmani has become a subject of discussion.
After Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan announced an alliance with the TDP, emphasizing a collective effort for the welfare of Andhra Pradesh and its people.
Today, Janasena leaders including Kandula Durgesh, Balakrishna, Shasidhar, Chandrasekhar, and others met with Brahmani.
The discussions primarily focused on the ongoing developments and potential joint actions.Following the meeting, Janasena leaders affirmed their commitment to collaborate with the TDP against the YCP government.
Brahmani, during her uncle Chandrababu’s incarceration and her husband Lokesh’s busy in Delhi, has been actively participating in TDP activities. She has openly criticized the YCP government for Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest and remains deeply engaged in TDP’s initiatives.
Brahmani often consults with her husband Lokesh and father Balakrishna regarding the party’s planned actions and programs.
Brahmani has the experience of handling NTR bhavan and NTR trust and knows several senior functionaries well.
She is also said to be involved in the affairs of the Heritage. Her political appearances have never happened.
But the party leaders feel that Brahmani’s entry could galvanise the party, which is now down in the dumps especially after the arrest of Chandrababu.
