People of Andhra Pradesh are in great fear though the Covid-19 cases in the state are declining day by day.The reason for their concern is the reopening of schools.According to the reports, two government high schools in Mundlamur and Kothapatnam mandals in Prakasam district have reportedly closed, as ten students and school staff tested positive for Corona Virus recently.

Reports say, along with a teacher eight students from Marella Zilla Parishad High School and two students from Gamallapalem ZP High School tested positive for the Corona Virus.Consequently, all the students, their family members and their primary contacts have undergone home quarantine.

According to the medical reports, their health condition is stable.

The incident increased the fear about the second wave of the deadly virus, and many parents have raised concerns over the reopening of schools on November 2.As the spread of the virus is not in one’s hands, violation of Covid norms by an individual can cause a threat to many children, say the parents.

Following the incident, parents of some students raised apprehensions over reopening of schools on November 2.They apprehended that violation of Covid norms by some people may pose a threat to their children.However, diminishing their fears, the educational authorities guaranteed they would enforce Covid protocol strictly for the safety of students.
