All it takes is just a matter of a few hours for an entire village to vanish.

Yes, the residents of Ananthagiri village are left with few hours, before the entire village is about to submerge in waters.

Located in Rajanna Siricilla district, Ananthagiri village is home to 837 families according to officials.Waters from Kaleshwaram project reaching Ananthagiri village Madhyamaneru will submerge the village entirely by tomorrow afternoon.

Out of the 837 families, 735 families have received the compensation package, and the rest are battling in the court.These families are protesting sitting in the middle of the village, stating that they will not be moving.According to the package, each family will receive a sum of Rs 7.50 lakhs and 250 square yards land.The government allotted 60 acres near Thangallapalli outskirts and 70 acres near Ananthagiri village Pochamma Temple as a part of the relocation package.

However, those who have received the package are yet to construct houses at the new location and are in a state of bother.Telangana government officials are making all the efforts to evacuate the Ananthagiri village by today evening at any cost.
