Alia Bhatt, a famous Bollywood actor, went on a movie date with her family on Saturday.They watched the movie ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ which stars Rani Mukerji.
Alia was deeply moved by the film and Rani’s performance, and she shared her thoughts on Instagram.She even mentioned that she cried during the film because she could relate to it as a new mother.
The film is about a mother who fights against the state to be reunited with her children after they were taken away and placed in foster care.The story is based on Sagarika Bhattacharya’s book ‘The Journey of a Mother’.
The film stars Rani Mukerji, Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh, and Anirban Bhattacharya.It was directed by Ashima Chibber and was released on Friday.
Alia praised Rani’s acting and the film’s team for their work on the movie.She also mentioned Jim Sarbh’s performance in the film, calling him an “absolute chameleon”.
Alia has worked with Jim before in the movie ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Apart from her thoughts on the movie, Alia also shared details about her upcoming projects.She will be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, a Hollywood film called ‘Heart of Stone’ with Gal Gadot, and ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
