‘Ala Vaikunthapuramloo’ Garners Record TRP’s on Small Screen

Stylish star Allu Arjun’s last release Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo was a massive hit at the box office which went on to collect some staggering numbers at the box office.

This out and out commercial family entertainer is now the highest-grossing Telugu film after Baahubali which has put Allu Arjun back in the race.

Now the latest news is that this film which was screened recently on Gemini TV has registered the highest ever TRP for a Telugu film till date on the small screen.The film garnered a TRP of 29.4 which is a new record in the history of Telugu television.The previous best was Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru that received 23.4 TRP.Incidentally, both these films were released for this years Sankranthi season and both the films turned out to be huge blockbusters for the respective stars.The film is directed by Trivikram Srinivas which had Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth, Navdeep, Nivetha Pethuraj, Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma, Rajendra Prasad, Sunil, Sachin Khedekar, and Harsha Vardhan playing crucial roles.

The film is jointly bankrolled by Haarika and Hassine Creations and Geetha Arts while SS.Thaman scored the music.
