Mumbai 15th August : The film industry is known for its films with an air of patriotism , such as ‘Baby’ and ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty Airlift and ‘Kesari’ among others.Bollywood star Akshay Kumar during the occasion of India’s Independence Day asked everyone to “always enjoy the freedom we enjoy”. Akshay was on social media on which he posted a photo of himself in a pose with the flag.
“Let’s always be grateful for this freedom.Happy #IndependenceDay.#Indiaat75” he wrote in the caption.
For the actor, Akshay, whose latest release is ‘Raksha’ Bandhan”, has a string of films scheduled to release.He has “Ram Setu,” “OMG-2 and ‘Mission: Cindrella’.
Akshay also has “Gorkha,” a movie that is based on the story of Major General Ian Cardozo, who lost his leg in an explosion from a landmine, but was able to overcome his disability and become the first officer with a disability of the Indian Army to command a brigade and battalion.
Film will be directed by award-winning National Award-winning filmmaker Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.
