As part of this, he said that his real name was Ramesh Danthuluru but he changed his name to Raja Ravindra as there were already many people with that name in the film industry.
He said that he was interested in working in the field of marketing before coming to the movies, so he worked day and night in a paper mill belonging to his uncle and later completed his higher studies in college at night.
During his working days at the paper mill, his younger brother noticed his interest in dance and sent him to Chennai to train in dance.
After that he gradually tried for opportunities but got some good status despite some difficulties.
However, he said that his film Magatrishna, in which he played the hero, was not released in cinemas at the time but the film won a national award and he became known to the film industry through this film.
