Abhishek Bachchan recalls learning sarod from Amjad Ali Khan as a child

Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachchan were present at a Mumbai concert that honored the musical heritage of Amjad Ali Khan, a renowned sarod player.

Abhishek shared a video on Instagram of Amjads sons Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash, as well as his grandsons Zohaan and Abeer, performing together.

In the post, Abhishek recalled learning the sarod from Amjad as a child but had to discontinue due to moving to a boarding school in Switzerland.Abhishek praised the musicians mastery, brilliance, culture, and tradition, saying it was an absolute joy and honour to witness their performance.

He expressed happiness about the young generation continuing the family legacy, saying two more maestros were on their way.Ayaan Ali Bangash thanked Abhishek for his love in the comments.The sarod is a traditional Indian musical instrument played with a plectrum, with roots tracing back to ancient times.

Amjad Ali Khan is a celebrated sarod player, who has performed internationally and has been awarded numerous honours, including Indias second-highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan.Abhishek and Aishwaryas attendance at the concert was noteworthy as the couple is known for keeping a low profile.
