In a most pathetic incident which further questioning women safety in Bangalore a 25-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by robbers in the presence of her husband and mother-in-law at her residence here.The ghastly incident happened on October 24 th at HSR layout but the family not reported the matter to police fearing social stigma.
According to reports the 25 year old woman was raped by two of a four-member robbers’ gang in the presence of the familyAs per the repots the men barged into the woman’s house close to midnight on 24 October after knocking on the door pretending to be policemen.When the victims husband opened the door, the gang threatened the family with knives.
According to investigations, two men raped the woman while the other two filmed the crime.The robbers stole Rs 30,000 in cash and other gold valuables and also switched off their mobile phones.
They left home after threatening them with dire consequences.The victim is also a mother of a 9-year-old boy.
After hearing the complaint the police nabbed all four accused, aged 21, from Chikkaballapur bus stand at 6.30 pm.Two of them, who raped the victim are V Nandish, C Anil Kumar and other two C Sujit Kumar, and C Simon, made the video.The police also recovered the stolen valuables and other lethal weapons from their hideout.
The incident once again raised questions on woman safety in Bangalore.
