CPI’s state secretary, Koonamneni Sambashiva Rao, is slated to contest from Kothagudem, while CPI leader Regunta Chandrasekhar will vie for the Chennur seat.CPM, on the other hand, has chosen Julakanti Rangareddy and Bhukya Veerabhadram as their candidates for Miryalaguda and Wyra, respectively.
However, a murmur of dissent has emerged from within the Congress ranks in the Chennur assembly constituency.Some party members are questioning the decision to allocate the Chennur seat to CPI, as there are several deserving aspirants for the Congress ticket in that constituency.
Against this backdrop, an audio clip has surfaced on social media, featuring Congress Jaipur mandal president Fayaz engaging in a candid conversation with CPI national leader K.Narayana.In this exchange, Fayaz openly expresses his concerns about CPI contesting from Chennur, asserting that it might be a challenging victory for them.He proposes that CPI consider a seat where they stand a stronger chance of success in collaboration with the Congress.
