The Congress leaders in Telangana are exciteed as MP Rahul Gandhi is all set to visit the poll bound state from 18th to 20th October.This visit is a part of the party’s spirited campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections on 30th November.
Adding to the excitement, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will also be in Telangana on 18th October.She will be joining a special women’s convention along with her brother.
During their visit, both Rahul and Priyanka will be addressing this important women’s convention, as shared by AICC’s Manikrao Thakre, who’s in charge of party affairs in Telangana.
This visit of Rahul Gandhi will infuse new energy into the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) and give a strong push to their campaign efforts leading up to the elections.
After the women’s convention, Priyanka will head back to Delhi, while Rahul Gandhi will continue to participate in various events in the state until 20th October.
A peek into Rahul’s dynamic campaign plan:
On 18th October, after touching down in Hyderabad, he’ll make his way to Mulugu, visiting the splendid Ramappa temple.Later, from 4 pm to 6 pm, he’ll address a spirited public gathering.Following this, from 7 pm to 8 pm, he’ll join a padayatra alongside the enthusiastic unemployed youth.
Moving on to 19th October, he’ll engage with leaders from Singareni and NTPC workers’ unions, along with RFCL workers and those affected by contract jobs, from 10 am to 12:30 pm in Ramagundam.In the afternoon, from 4 pm to 6 pm, he’ll address another charged public meeting.
Additionally, he’ll have discussions with members of the rice millers’ association and farmers in Peddapalli.In the evening, from 7 pm to 8 pm, he’ll participate in a vibrant Padayatra in Karimnagar.
On the third day, 20th October, Rahul Gandhi will connect with beedi workers and families of gulf migrant workers from 10 am to 1 pm in Bodhan, located in Nizamabad district.This will be followed by a visit to the Nizam Sugar Factory.
Later in the afternoon, from 4 pm to 6 pm, he’ll share his thoughts in a lively public meeting in Armur.Finally, he’ll interact with turmeric and sugarcane farmers.
The day will end with a Padayatra in Nizamabad from 7 pm to 8 pm.
Meanwhile, the BJP has big plans, bringing in heavyweights like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and other senior leaders for public meetings.On the other hand, the ruling BRS is relying on the charm of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
But for TPCC, it’s all about the magnetic appeal of Rahul and his mother, Sonia Gandhi.The political stage is set, and it’s going to be an interesting run-up to the elections!
