Aamir Khan’s recent movie, “Laal Singh Chaddha,” didn’t do well at the box office. This caused a lot of debate among experts and viewers.
Some blame the film’s failure on boycott calls, while others feel it wasn’t up to Aamir’s usual standards.Interestingly, Aamir’s cousin and director of his debut hit “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak,” Mansoor Khan, shared his thoughts on the matter.
Mansoor released a new book, “One: The Story of the Ultimate Myth,” where he openly talked about Aamir’s acting in “Laal Singh Chaddha.” He admitted he was honest with Aamir even before others and gave him feedback. He had mentioned to Aamir that his acting seemed exaggerated, especially in the Bollywood version of the Hollywood movie “Forrest Gump.” However, it was when renowned director SS Rajamouli, known for films like “Baahubali” and “RRR,” also pointed out Aamir’s overacting that Aamir took it more seriously.
Mansoor explained that he liked the script of “Laal Singh Chaddha,” and he thought writer Atul Kulkarni did a good job. However, he felt Aamir’s expressions were too much for the character. The character wasn’t supposed to be obnoxious or have any specific disorder, just a bit odd.

Following the disappointing performance of “Laal Singh Chaddha,” Aamir Khan decided to take a break from acting.Currently, he is enjoying his time away from the film industry.
Moreover, Rajamouli is a Telugu film director who has made a name for himself with his impeccable films like Vikramarkudu, Chatrapathi, Baahubali, and RRR.His films are known for their grand visuals, action sequences, and emotional depth. He is one of the most successful directors in Telugu cinema and his films have been praised by critics and audiences alike.
