Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were the showstoppers at fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s The Bridal Couture Show.Alia looked stunning in a black and silver lehenga, paired with matching jewelry, while Ranveer impressed everyone with his traditional attire – a sherwani with a glittering jacket.
The couple walked hand in hand on the ramp, laughing and interacting with the guests, exuding charm and elegance.
Deepika Padukone, Ranveer’s wife, graced the event in a white saree and matching blouse, accompanied by his mother Anju Bhavnani.
As Ranveer walked the ramp, he greeted the audience with folded hands and gave Deepika a sweet kiss on the cheek.He also respectfully touched his mother’s feet and exchanged greetings with filmmaker Karan Johar, Kajol, and her sister Tanishaa Mukerji.
The event was attended by other celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Ridhi Dogra, and Nusshratt Bharuccha, who caught everyone’s attention with their impeccable style.
After the show, Ranveer playfully teased Alia for getting momentarily distracted, leading to some fun moments between the two.In a grateful note, Alia expressed her appreciation for everyone’s presence at the event and jokingly suggested that it was time for all to go to sleep since it was late.
Alia and Ranveer are set to appear together in the upcoming film “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” directed by Karan Johar, and featuring veterans Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles.
The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on July 28.On the other hand, Deepika will be seen in “Project K,” now titled “Kalki 2898 AD,” alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan.The film, produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, is slated to release next year under the direction of Nag Ashwin, and also stars Disha Patani.
