During a recent interview with a national media, Huma revealed some interesting details.When asked if she cooked any food during the shoot, she replied that she didn’t cook anything but tried all the dishes.

Since it was a food-centric film, she made sure to savor every bite that was shown on screen.

Her father, Saleem Qureshi, who is a restaurateur, was excited after watching the trailer.He was particularly intrigued by the dish called Batata Musallam and decided to find the recipe to serve it at his restaurant, Saleem’s, for their vegetarian customers.

Huma mentioned that during her visit to Delhi, she had Batata Musallam for two consecutive days.

Talking about her preparations for the role of Tarla, Huma explained that she had to work on her accent, mannerisms, and even used dentures to change her appearance.

She wanted to capture the essence of the character, and to do that, she had to embody Tarla’s unique personality traits.

Huma highlighted some unique aspects of the movie.She admired Tarla’s simple and affable nature, both in her personal life and while hosting her cooking show.Tarla’s energy and authenticity were her strongest points, and Huma felt it was important to showcase her cultural and human impact through the film.She expressed her happiness in making Tarla’s story available for people to watch and appreciate her significant contributions.
