Housing minister for Andhra Pradesh Jogi Ramesh has sought blood test on TD chief N.Chandrababu Naidu, saying the former CM had been under the influence of ganja when he talked about houses for poor in Amaravati’s R5 Zone.
In support of his demand, Ramesh referred to Naidu’s statement in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday that a cent of land for a house will only be sufficient for burial of a dead body.“Such comparison indicates the TD chief spoke under the influence of ganja, He must thus undergo a blood test,” he remarked.
The minister maintained that from 1995 to 2019, Chandrababu had been the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for 14 years.But he did not give even a cent of land to the poor.Whereas, Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy has given house pattas to 30 lakh women.Further, house titles are being allotted to poor SC, ST, BC and minority communities.In addition, 30 lakh house plots have been given to eligible and 22 lakh houses are being constructed for beneficiaries in 17,005 Jagananna colonies.
“How can Naidu shamelessly say that house sites given to poor are enough only for a grave,” Ramesh asked.
He objected to Chandrababu referring to Jagan Mohan Reddy as “psycho.” He contended that the TDP chief has turned into a psycho, losing control over his tongue at his 75 years of age.
The minister maintained that while Chandrababu sides with the rich and wealthy, Jagan stands for the poor.The coming assembly general elections will be a battle between the rich and the poor, he declared.
