Indian actress Urvashi Rautela has sent a legal notice to a self-proclaimed critic who falsely claimed that she felt uncomfortable working with her co-star in her upcoming Telugu film “Agent,” Akhil Akkineni.The critic/journalist, Umair Sandhu, had tweeted that Urvashi had called Akhil an immature actor.
Urvashi, however, denied the claims and decided to take action against Sandhu.
In a social media post, Urvashi shared a note stating that her legal team had served a defamation legal notice to Sandhu.
She also criticized Sandhu for his false claims and called him an immature journalist who had made her and her family uncomfortable.
Sandhu has faced backlash from other celebrities as well.
A few weeks ago, actress Celina Jaitley had lashed out at Sandhu after he had made a derogatory comment about her.Sandhu had tweeted that Celina had slept with both Fardeen Khan and his father, Feroze Khan, multiple times.Celina had responded by asking Sandhu to seek medical help for his erectile dysfunction.
Urvashi Rautela started her career as a model and later transitioned into acting.She made her acting debut in 2013 with the film “Singh Saab the Great” and has since then appeared in several Hindi films.She has also worked in a number of Telugu-language films, including her latest film “Agent” with Akhil Akkineni, which is set to release soon.
