A social media activist of YSR Congress party has been allegedly beaten by Sullurpet police for making a social media post against MLA Sanjeevaiah.As per the media reports, one Babu Reddy is a social media activist of the YSRCP.
He allegedly made a post against Sullurpet MLA Sanjeevaiah.This did not go well with the ruling party MLA and made the cops trash him.The viral pictures show the level of beating he faced.
Though the news did not come out in mainstream media, a pro-YSRCP media outlet carried out a story on this and we have to agree that the person might have been beaten up indeed.
Social media activists have been the main strength of the YSRCP and if the party cannot even save them then what message does the party want to give? If the other activists get a sense that they are in danger and there is no protection, then the YSRCP would have to face a big issue.
