Stylish star Allu Arjun announced a movie under Dil Raju’s banner and it is titled ‘Icon’.‘Vakeel Saab’ fame Venu Sriram was made the director of this project.Venu Sri Ram also di0rected movies like ‘Oh My Friend’ and ‘MCA’.The first poster of Icon also generated a lot of buzz.
All this was before the release of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ but the movie never moved forward.Allu Arjun immediately accepted ‘Pushpa’ at that time and ‘Icon’ was gradually sidelined.
Many thought that the project has been shelved but reports suggest that Dil Raju has renewed the title recently.This implies that the producer is still interested in making this film and Bunny himself stated on a couple of occasions that ‘Icon’ will definitely happen.
Though he never mentioned the exact time period, he always gave hope to the fans about this project.
Even before the movie went onto the sets, Allu Arjun is being called an ‘Icon Star’ these days.
He is a pan-Indian hero now and the only way this project may go on floors is if a star director takes it up.Sources say that the star producer is looking for a big director to handle this script as Bunny is not showing interest in working with regular directors lately.He got a huge disaster in the form of ‘Naa Peru Surya’ which he gave a chance to debut director.He is not keen on making the same mistake again.
