Bhansali also spoke about the unpredictable nature of the Indian audience and how, post-pandemic, it is difficult to understand their changing preferences. He believes that filmmakers should take risks and offer new subjects to the audience rather than assuming what they want to see.He also shared that Gangubai Kathiawadi worked despite being a woman-centric film and without a male lead, which is what filmmakers need to do – take a chance and change the audience’s perception.

The first look of Heeramandi has been well received by the audience, with Netflix sharing a glimpse of the beautiful and intriguing world created by Bhansali.

The web series is set to release soon, and fans can’t wait to see the talented actresses bring the director’s vision to life on the big screen.
