Since he is Minister of the department, he becomes the chief of thieves.

In a conversation with media personnel in Patna, Singh said that he is adamant about his words and won’t alter it or claim that his statement was misinterpreted by media.

“I was honest and I’m not going to retract or deny it.A lot of corruption is happening within the department of agriculture.Everyone is stealing from the ministry.I contacted that the government stop distribution of budget funds to my department.” Singh said.

“The farmers would like to practice paddy farming, but the Bihar Rajya Beej Nigam does not give them the proper seeds.

The funds allocated for this purpose, namely, Rs 150 crore, aren’t getting to the farmers. The officials are also involved in this fraud.

When farmers approached district magistrates and were told to stay away from them, they refused to engage with them and did not listen to their complaints. This is the current situation of Bihar,” Singh said.

Singh in his address to an audience of farmers in his home town of Ramgarh in Kaimur district, on Sunday, claimed: “There are many thieves in my department, and they are taking money.Since I am the minister in charge of the department, I am also their chief.

There are several chiefs who are above me.The current government is old, and its way of work is outdated. It’s the responsibility of the common people to notify the governmentto this,” Singh said.
