Ahmedabad 13th September : Aam Aadmi Party is the party’s founder and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday promised A corruption-free government is guaranteed when his party is elected to the powerhouse in Gujarat.
In his address to media The AAP chief stated “Anyone in the government indulging in corrupt practices, regardless of AAP or any other party will be sent to prison.
Kejriwal has cited a decision of the AAP-led Punjab government, when it dismissed one minister for corruption.
He also assured that all public funds would be 100 percent to be used for public development, they will not be distributed to corporate patrons, nor be used to go to tax havens.
Kejriwal said that in the BJP state, citizens are required to pay bribes in order to get their work completed in the government department.
If asked regarding Congress chairman Ajoy Kumar’s comment that the Punjab government is spending money on advertising even though it has no funds to pay for the salaries of college professors Kejriwal stated, “Congress is done, stop asking Congress party’s questions.”
On the BJP’s claim that Narmada Bachao Andolan’s leader as well as activist Medha Patkar will be featured as AAP’s Chief Minister nominee in Gujarat Assembly elections, Kejriwal said: Saying that AAP is fielding Medha Patkar as the chief ministerial candidate in Gujarat is like saying that BJP will portray Sonia Gandhi as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s successor.”
