Gandhinagar 13th September : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday claimed that the BJP will once more romp to the powerhouse in Gujarat with two thirds majority in the coming Assembly elections.Expressing his faith in the people who vote, he said the people aren’t enticed by the false promises and will base their decisions on the work carried through by the BJP to date.
In his address to a gathering to mark the anniversary of the one-year anniversary of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in office, Shah recalled that when Bhupendra Patel was inaugurated in as the chief minister people were a little nervous, but he has proven that everyone was wrong and has successfully finished a year.
In the latest NITI Aayog report, he declared that Gujarat is ranked first in excellent governance in various aspects, whether be it education, health or other sectors.
He stated that he continued the development efforts that was started by Narendra Modi, the chief minister of the state.
Under the BJP rule the state has seen improvement because law and order are in place.
During Congress rule the curfew and riots were common, and blasts were frequent and Gujarat did not see the growth and development.
A little earlier in the morning, Vedanta group had signed an MOU with the state government to invest Rs 1.54 lakh crore in Foxconn Semiconductor plant in Gujarat.
