The show is based on Ted Lasso, an American college football coach who is recruited as a coach for the English soccer team in an attempt by the team’s owner to slander her ex-husband.
Lasso is trying to convince the skeptical English market with his jovial positive attitude while coping with his lack of experience in the game.
