Vietnam reports 1,643 new cases of Covid-19

Hanoi 11th September : Vietnam recorded 1,643 new cases of Covid-19 on Sunday, which was down by 855 from the previous day according to the Health Ministry.

The new infections have made the total 11,439,613.Three deaths due to the pandemic in the northern city of Hai Phong and the southern Tay Ninh province on Sunday which brought the total number of deaths up to 43,129 Xinhua news agency reported.

As of Sunday there were 113 severe instances in the need of assisted breathing in the Southeast Asian country, according to the Ministry.Nationally, 10,322,003 Covid-19 patients or more than 90 percent of the total infections , have recovered.Vietnam has confirmed Covid-19-related cases with Omicron BA.4, BA.5, BA.2.12.1 and BA.2.74 sub-variants.int/khz/ .
