King Charles III officially proclaimed British monarch

London 10th September : The first time in an event that was telecast the King Charles III was on Saturday officially proclaimed as the new British monarch following the death of his mother of 96 years, queen Elizabeth II who reigned for 70 years as a king.
Charles, Queen Elizabeth’s firstborn was crowned King immediately following her death on the Thursday, but a historic gathering confirmed his title on Saturday, during the ceremony held at St James’s Palace, says the BBC.

The Accession Council, a body comprised of senior officials, judges and politicians was able to proclaim him as the monarch in the State Apartments.

After the proclamation, the King officially announced the demise of his “beloved mother the Queen”.

“The entire world is with me in the devastating loss we’ve all experienced,” he said.

“My mother was an example of continuous devotion as well as of unselfish service.

My mother’s reign was unmatched in its length, commitment and dedication.Even in the midst of grief we thank God for her most faithful and long-lasting life.

“I am very aware of this profound inheritance and of the responsibilities and responsibilities that have been transferred to me” the BBC quoted Charles as saying.

He then continued to express his gratitude to Queen Consort Camilla by saying: “I am profoundly encouraged by the unwavering assistance of my dear wife.”

In addition, in the attendance at the event included Premier Minister Liz Truss, and former premierships Gordon Brown, David Cameron, Boris Johnson and Theresa May and Archbishop Justin Welby and Prince William.

Before Charles was crowned King, the demise of the Queen was officially declared.

About 200 people who gathered in the room and declared ‘God save King and the King’s they signed the papers.

Flags that were raised in honor of the Queen’s death will be at full-mast for just a few minutes.

A series of additional proclamations will be held throughout the UK until Sunday.
