The others inhaled teargas, as reported by Xinhua news agency.

The violent clashes erupted on Friday between protesters who oppose settlement as well as Israeli soldiers in the villages of Beita, Beit Dajan and KafrQaddum.

The protesters have burned tires and hurled stones at Israeli soldiers stationed at the boundaries of villages, they claimed.

Israeli authorities haven’t commented on the incident as of yet.

In June 1967, during the Middle East war, Israel has occupied the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem, which are claimed by the Palestinians and has ruled the territories ever since.

The tension in the West Bank has been mounting in the last few days since the Israeli army intensified its military operations against Palestinian militants and activists.
