Chandigarh 9 September : Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday congratulated Panipat-based sportsperson Neeraj Chopra for making history when he secured the first place in the Diamond League Finals in Zurich.He expressed satisfaction about the performance of Chopra and expressed his hope that his outstanding performances will be repeated in the near future.
Neeraj Chopra is considered to be one of the most skilled athletes of Haryana and has left his mark in the most prestigious international sporting events around the world, Khattar said in a statement.
“With this awe-inspiring feat by Neeraj the youngsters of the state and the nation will surely learn from his feat and will strive to win for the nation in their respective fields,” he added.
