Beijing 7 September : The amount of people killed following the 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Luding county in China’s Sichuan province has risen to 74, and 26 people are still missing local authorities announced Wednesday.The headquarters for rescue of the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture the region that was the most severely hit, said 40 people were killed 14 were missing, and 170 were injured, according to Xinhua news agency.
In Ya’an, the city of Ya’an in Ya’an, 34 people were dead, 12 were missing, and 89 people had been injured at the time of late Tuesday afternoon, according to the emergency management office of Ya’an.
The earthquake struck on Monday.
